You've seen it on the labels if you've been in our store - "Since 1890", etc. Yes, some of these candies have been around for a long, looong time! Research has shown that many of them were first used for medicinal purposes.
Grandma Kay has some articles you may like to read. There's one about Licorice, Rock Crystal Candies, and another that's about popcorn, and how it pops. If you get a chance, they're quite informative.
